Quick answer
The short version
A trustworthy festival makes seven things public: the organizer and official domain; confirmed dates and venue; inclusions for each ticket; refund and transfer standards; photos and videos from past events; official contact channels; and how changes are announced. Before paying, check whether all seven connect consistently on the same site without contradictions.
A beautiful poster moves your heart; clear terms move your wallet
A dance festival is the kind of product that makes you want to go immediately just by seeing the lineup and videos. It is also a high-consideration choice that moves flights, accommodation, vacation days, and ticket costs together. “The atmosphere looks good” and “I can trust the operation” are different questions.
A good organizer does not show only one of the two.
Seven things to check before paying
- 01
Are the organizer's name and official domain consistent?
Check whether search results, the ticket-payment page, terms, and social media connect to the same event name and official site. If only a personal bank account or links of unclear origin are provided, verify once more.
- 02
Are the date and venue disclosed specifically?
There should be more than a city name: date, venue name, address, and access information should be available. If they are not confirmed yet, it also matters whether that is stated clearly.
- 03
Are inclusions separated by ticket?
You should be able to compare which of workshops, performances, battles, socials, and live concerts are included in each product. Do not decide based only on a name like “all access.”
- 04
Are refund and transfer standards visible before payment?
It should state how much is returned until when, fees and processing method, and whether transfer is possible. A policy disclosed only after asking makes it harder for buyers to decide.
- 05
Is there sufficient process material from past events?
Do not look only at posters and group photos; look for actual workshop, performance, entry, social, and battle photos and videos. Material from multiple times and programs makes operating experience easier to judge concretely.
- 06
Are official contact channels and their scope available?
Check where to ask about payment, registration changes, refunds, and overseas participation. A website connected to several official channels is clearer than relying on one social-media DM.
- 07
Do changes show a date?
Event information can change. A latest update date and official notice principles make it easier to distinguish old screenshots from current information.

|---|---|---|
| Basic event information | April 23–25, 2027, Cube Convention Center | Before booking flights or accommodation and immediately before departure |

| Tickets | Compare day, social, full, and battle-included passes | Immediately before payment |

| Past events | 4,002 official 2026 photos and official videos | When evaluating the event atmosphere |
| Operating record | Records of invitations, boot camps, live bands, and official partnerships | When evaluating organizer experience |
The SIDF introduction page presents the invitation of Wilmer Maria, Nicolo boot camp, overseas live-band performance and social participation, Cuban Flex and Chiki Cuba invitations, and cooperation with the Cuban Embassy as its own key records.
“First” is a strong claim. Do not simply repeat the introduction copy; review the official letter and program records published on the page together.
This article also cites that expression only as an official record published by SIDF.
Photos must do more than be numerous; they must answer doubts
Hundreds of stage photos can show that a performance was impressive, but they do not make it easy to know how beginner workshops were run or whether people were actually at the social. The SIDF 2026 album is divided into battle, concert, introduction, performance, social, and workshop sections.
That means you can choose and view scenes that directly answer your question.
For a refund policy, numbers and timing matter more than simply having one
The official SIDF terms publish refunds minus a 10% fee until two weeks before the event, ticket transfers, applications through official channels, and processing guidance in business days.
They also note exceptions: taxes, payment-network fees, and exchange-rate differences may affect the actual refund amount for overseas payments. A good policy page shows potentially inconvenient conditions before payment, not only the good story.
